Qubit basics

A qubit is quantum information you can rotate.

A normal bit is either 0 or 1. A qubit can be in a superposition of both until it is measured, and its single-qubit state can be shown as a point on the Bloch sphere. Gates change that point by rotating or flipping it, which is why Blochsphere turns gate rules into something you can see.

Superposition
A qubit can combine the |0⟩ and |1⟩ states, with measurement probabilities set by its position.
Measurement
Measuring gives one classical result, but repeated runs reveal the qubit's probability pattern.
Gates
Quantum gates move the state around the sphere, so each move changes what outcomes are likely.
